Blake is in his second year coaching the Pride and in his first full year as the Defensive Coordinator. His first year with the Pride was coaching WR/DB/special teams. Blake's coaching experience includes being offensive coordinator for jr high teams in La Grande, OR 1994-1996; WR/DB/special teams coach at Philomath HS (Oregon) varsity (2006).
Blake played high school football at Bishop Kelly HS (Boise). He was 2nd team all-conference defensive back and 1st team all-conference punter (1986). He walked on at Boise State University 1988 as a running back. Blake later transferred to Eastern Oregon University (1991-93) where he played cornerback and punt returner. He was voted all-conference honorable mention at cornerback.
